In the Talas region, in the Aitmatov district, the construction of the historical and memorial complex "Chyngyz Aalamy" [“The Universe of Chyngyz”] is actively continuing.

On March 4, representatives of the presidential envoy in the region visited the site to assess the current state of construction and the writer Chyngyz Aitmatov's house-museum.

During the inspection, it was revealed that only four people were working on the construction. The project management expressed dissatisfaction with such slow progress, emphasizing the strategic importance of this site. The presidential envoy Ermat Jumayev reminded that only five months remain until the completion of construction. As a result of the inspection, instructions were given to expedite the work while strictly adhering to high quality standards.

Particular attention was paid to the writer's house-museum, where finishing works have practically come to a halt. Instructions were given to the first deputy head of the Aitmatov district administration and the chairman of the rural council to urgently resume both internal and external finishing works to ensure the museum's full readiness for operation.

The construction and reconstruction of the cultural and memorial complex in the writer's native village — Sheker — are aimed at immortalizing the legacy of Chyngyz Aitmatov and his name for future generations.

The complex will include a modern house-museum, an innovative cinema, a library, and a hotel block.
