On November 13, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, made a working trip to the Talas region, where he got acquainted with the progress of construction of the central park in the city of Talas.

During the visit, he was presented with sketches of the new park, which will cover an area of almost 5 hectares. It is planned to create comfortable recreation areas, install attractions, and improve the territory.

Ermat Jumayev, the presidential representative in the Talas region, reported that the work began in June of this year.

The park had not been renovated for 17 years, and the attractions were closed back in 2008 due to wear and tear.

Japarov also reviewed the project for updating the alley named after K. Nurjanov.

This alley is planned to feature shops, a library, recreation areas, sports grounds, and a fountain. Additionally, there will be exhibits dedicated to the works of the great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov. The completion of the reconstruction is scheduled for July 2026.

At the end of his visit, the president inspected special equipment acquired for Talas and its surroundings, totaling 42 units, including front loaders, concrete mixers, and asphalt pavers.
