At the event, the president expressed a proposal to rename the facility to "Zhashtyk".

Previously, the arena was named after Dolon Omurzakov, according to information from the press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The sports arena, covering an area of 15,342 square meters and consisting of three floors with a basement, includes numerous amenities. The basement houses parking and technical rooms, including an electrical switchboard and heating units.

On the first floor, there are changing rooms, a medical station, showers, and a conference room, as well as a training hall.

The second floor contains sanitary and storage facilities, a food court, and spectator stands.

The third floor includes a VIP lounge and additional seating for spectators.

The arena was built in accordance with international standards, allowing it to host not only sports events but also concerts, cultural events, and international tournaments.
In a symbolic gesture, the president signed a football and passed it on to the future generation.

After that, Sadyr Japarov familiarized himself with the arena's infrastructure, inspected the changing rooms and training halls, and participated in a concert program dedicated to the national youth forum "Kiyalymdagy Kyrgyzstan".

The forum gathered youth leaders, young entrepreneurs, renowned athletes, and graduates of leading universities, who shared their initiatives and visions for the country's future.

They expressed a desire to actively participate in the development of society, the implementation of innovations, and the strengthening of the state system.

At the end of his visit, the president learned about an investment project concerning the construction of modern tennis courts, aimed at developing sports infrastructure and popularizing tennis in Kyrgyzstan.
