The small arena named after D. Omurzakov was opened in Bishkek, which opens new horizons for holding cultural events and international sports competitions. This statement was made by the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, at the youth forum "Kıyalımdakı Kyrgyzstan," currently taking place in the city.

During his speech, he emphasized that he is glad that the completion of construction coincided with the forum, creating excellent conditions for the youth.

The mayor also reminded that the site where the arena is now located was in poor condition a year ago. By the president's directive, the small arena was transferred to the management of the mayor's office, and active construction work began in early June. The catering facilities that were previously located on this site were removed, and the arena itself was built in less than a year, creating comfortable conditions for the residents and guests of the capital.

It is worth noting that the new multifunctional arena covers an area of 15,000 square meters and accommodates 5,100 spectators. It has a visitor accounting system, as well as an underground parking lot for 86 cars, sanitary zones, and changing rooms. The total funding for the project amounted to about 1.3 billion soms.

We remind you that the youth forum "Kıyalımdakı Kyrgyzstan" is currently taking place, with over 5,000 participants, including activists, students, volunteers, young entrepreneurs, and representatives of youth organizations from various regions of the country.
