At the moment, the draft resolution regarding the transfer of the building, which is under the control of the Ministry of Culture, has already been sent for approval to the Cabinet of Ministers.

The municipality plans to carry out the reconstruction using the local budget, and the project has already been developed by the capital's Architecture Department. After the document is approved, the demolition of the old building will begin, and a modern cultural center will be built in its place, providing comfortable conditions for residents and guests of the capital, including parking and necessary infrastructure.
The city administration noted that they have experience in implementing similar initiatives, citing the successful example of the 'Trudovye Rezervy' sports complex, which was transferred to the municipality and, after major repairs, became the 'Alga' sports and wellness complex. The renovation of the small arena, previously managed by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, has also been completed, and it is now transferred to the Bishkek city administration. The opening of this arena is scheduled for November 10.
Thus, similar work is being carried out with the 'Chatyr-Kul' cinema, which will become a space for recreation and cultural events for the city's residents.
