Dear young leaders!
Esteemed participants of the "Kyyalymdagy Kyrgyzstan" forum!
Today we have gathered for an important event — the opening of the Small Arena of the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium as part of the youth forum. I congratulate all the young people from seven regions of Kyrgyzstan on this significant date and on Youth Day!
May a generation grow that is responsible for the future of the country and capable of building it. Please convey my best wishes to all youth activists in your regions!
Two years ago, we met at this same forum to discuss important issues concerning youth. We talked about the fight against corruption, economic reforms, the creation of new jobs, and affordable housing. This forum has become a platform for youth to discuss relevant issues together with government bodies.
Although not all the issues we raised have been resolved, we still see progress. For example, the fight against corruption continues, and we are exposing complex schemes that have existed for many years. We will not allow anyone to encroach on the property of the people and state funds.
You, the youth, must become the force that can resist corruption and theft. It is time to create a generation that will love its country as it loves its parents!
Two years ago, I noted that key issues are the creation of jobs and affordable housing, which concern the youth of Kyrgyzstan.
In this regard, last year, on the occasion of the centenary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, more than a hundred new enterprises were opened, and this year their number also exceeds one hundred. We continue to create thousands of new jobs.
As for affordable housing, over the past two years, about 5,000 apartments have been handed over to citizens under mortgage programs. This is not just a social measure; it is a policy aimed at strengthening stability in every family and confidence in the future. The state mortgage company is actively building apartment buildings, which will have more than 70,000 apartments across the country.
Dear friends!
In the past, we discussed the important task of achieving energy independence. The energy deficit is a result of ineffective management in the past. Despite the fact that we are building small hydropower plants and modernizing large ones, we still cannot fully meet the electricity needs.
In recent years, many social and industrial facilities have been built, and the energy sector has not always kept pace with this development. However, in the next 2-3 years, we plan to eliminate the electricity deficit and move towards export. We are also developing alternative energy sources, such as solar and wind energy.
Dear young people!
My main goal is to build the Kyrgyzstan of my dreams: a developed, prosperous, and independent state where the people live in abundance, and the young generation proudly represents their country!
This is not only my dream but a common aspiration. You need to realize that achieving this dream requires your energy, strength, and indomitable spirit. I believe that you will make a significant contribution to building the future of Kyrgyzstan!
With this hope, as president, I draw your attention to several key directions.
The first is education. This is a fundamental task, and you must not lag behind modern requirements. We are working on transforming the education system so that youth can be competitive on a global level. Special attention is given to scientific research.
Since 2022, within the framework of the "El ümütü" project, we are helping master's students obtain education in leading universities around the world. Currently, 55 students are studying at 38 universities that are among the top 100 in the world. This is significant support for the future of Kyrgyzstan.
The "El ümütü" project is already yielding results: seven graduates have been employed in our country, and 12 are working in international companies, bringing glory to Kyrgyzstan. This is our pride!
In addition, 22 students sent to the Shchepkin Higher Theatre School successfully completed their studies and returned home, securing jobs at the Osh National Drama Theater.
Supporting innovative projects and youth startups is one of the priority areas of our state policy. The results are already visible: startup project competitions show that there are creative and talented young people in Kyrgyzstan. Their solutions can be applied in education, industry, and medicine.
At the forum, the idea of creating a youth association was initiated. In accordance with the Cabinet's decision, the "Youth Movement of Kyrgyzstan" has been established and is already functioning. Youth makes up 35% of the country's population — this is our hope and strength! If the youth unite, they can become the locomotive for the development of Kyrgyzstan.
Secondly, it is important to support national unity. We have adopted the Concept "Uluu Dem — Dүynөlүk Biyiktik," which serves as a roadmap for the development of language, culture, and unity. It aims to preserve our traditions and values, allowing us to reach new heights.
In the context of globalization, you, the youth, must not forget your roots and morals. It is important to remember your behavior in society and in the virtual space.
Thirdly, we strive for the industrialization of the country and the creation of competitive products. By 2030, we plan to increase GDP to $30 billion and place Kyrgyzstan among the top 30 countries in the world.
The fourth direction is ecology. We must treat our nature with care. Given the problems with water and climate, the economical use of resources and the protection of the environment should become your priority.
Dear youth!
The forum is taking place on the eve of elections, and I want to say a few words about the importance of fair elections. We will not allow the repetition of past mistakes. All polling stations will be equipped with electronic counters, and voting can only be done once. We are monitoring issues of vote buying and creating conditions to protect the rights of voters.
Participation in elections is a civic duty. On November 30, a new composition of the Jogorku Kenesh will be elected. I am confident that the youth will make the right choice for the future of our country!

Today we are opening not just an arena, but a multifunctional facility that will become a cultural and sports center of our capital. I thank everyone who participated in its construction.
This arena is built for you, the youth! You are its true owners, and it will serve you!

With the unity and energy of the youth, we will create a just and prosperous Kyrgyzstan — "The Kyrgyzstan of My Dreams"!
