During the testing, the president underwent the online identification procedure using his passport, which allowed the system to determine his electoral district and polling station. After that, he was issued a ballot, which he filled out by marking his candidate and dropped it into the ballot box.
The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Tynchtyk Shainazarov, showed the president how the voting equipment works and how remote voting is organized. During the testing process, the system demonstrated the mechanism for preventing double voting: if a voter attempted to identify themselves at another polling station, the system reported that a vote had already been cast and did not issue a ballot.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized the importance of transparency, technical readiness, and accessibility of the electoral process for citizens. He instructed the Central Election Commission and other state bodies to ensure the smooth operation of all polling stations, including remote ones, as well as to organize an informational campaign to increase voter engagement.
It is worth noting that the testing of remote voting is taking place at all polling stations across the country and in several cities in Russia. Similar tests were previously conducted on October 10 and 20. Their goal is to give citizens the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new system and ensure its reliability and convenience.
