At the meeting, information from local authorities regarding preparations for the electoral process was also discussed. Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasized the importance of ensuring a professional organization of the upcoming elections.
He highlighted that the forthcoming elections represent a crucial stage in the democratic development of the country. "Hundreds of thousands of Kyrgyz citizens are outside the homeland and have the right to vote. Ensuring their participation in the elections is a direct responsibility of the state. We need to conduct the elections openly, legally, and safely, so that the voices of all citizens are taken into account, and the work of the polling stations is organized at a high level," noted Daniyar Amangeldiev.
Additionally, it was reported that 100 polling stations are planned to be opened in 34 countries around the world for voting by citizens residing abroad. Relevant state authorities are actively preparing specialists and testing technical equipment in several cities, as well as working on attracting international observers.
At the conclusion of the meeting, instructions were given to relevant state authorities for further work.
