According to information provided by the regional police, on February 16, 2026, residents of the village of Taran-Bazar, located in the Kok-Art ayil district, approached law enforcement authorities. They filed a report about the theft of livestock that occurred in the autumn of 2025 in the pastures of this area.
The fact of the theft was registered by the investigative service of the Suzak district's Internal Affairs Department in the Unified Register of Crimes. In this regard, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 205-1 (Cattle Theft) of the Criminal Code.
During the investigative actions, a suspect, a resident of the Suzak district, N.A., born in 2004, was detained. The Suzak district court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest against him.
Currently, measures are ongoing to determine the possible involvement of the detainee in other cases of cattle theft. The investigation is ongoing.
