Although statistics show a 35.8% decrease in the number of fires compared to the same period last year, the material damage from these incidents has increased by 19.6%.
The fires caused losses amounting to 18 million 416 thousand 502 soms; however, thanks to the quick response of the firefighters, material assets worth 40 million 480 thousand soms were saved.
Since the beginning of the year, the fire and rescue service has assisted 9 victims and provided telephone consultations to 95 citizens. In addition, 14 fire tactical exercises and 16 training sessions have been conducted in various districts and cities of the region.
