The Prosecutor's Office of the Jumgal District in the Naryn Region conducted an inspection, which revealed facts of illegal leasing of land plots under the jurisdiction of the district forestry.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that responsible officials of the Jumgal Forestry, from 2019 to 2024, using their official powers, organized competitions for the lease of land plots, which contradicts the interests of the service and creates conditions for personal gain.
During these activities, fictitious protocols were drawn up, based on which 49 citizens received land plots with a total area of 104.19 hectares for a period of 49 years.
As a result of the inspection, the prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case under Article 346 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning official forgery. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
