According to information from the Road Traffic Safety Department (UTB) of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, from March 2 to March 9, 2026, there were 8,355 violations of traffic rules in the region.
The agency also provided detailed data on the most serious offenses identified by patrol police officers:
- 1,388 cases of speeding;
- 399 violations related to pedestrian behavior;
- 105 violations of vehicle operation rules;
- 78 cases of driving without necessary documents;
- 70 cases of driving under the influence of alcohol;
- 58 cases of driving in the opposite lane;
- 9 cases of illegal window tinting.
In addition to administrative measures, it was reported that 268 vehicles were sent to specialized impound lots for various traffic violations.
