In Bishkek, employees of the Department for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration of the City Police Department conducted an operation called "Illegal," aimed at identifying and preventing violations of migration legislation.

The raid covered sewing workshops and other production facilities where foreign workers may be employed.

As a result of the checks, 64 foreigners were brought to the police. It was established that they arrived in Kyrgyzstan on visas issued by one organization, but were actually working for other companies, which is a violation of migration legislation.

Cases of illegal recruitment of foreign labor were also discovered. Administrative protocols were drawn up against three employers under Article 93 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, with a total fine amounting to 65,000 soms.

Measures regarding foreign citizens are currently being considered in accordance with the laws of the country, including the possibility of their deportation from Kyrgyzstan.

The City Police Department of Bishkek reminds employers of the need to strictly comply with migration legislation. Inspection activities in the capital will continue.
