President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, in his speech at the Jogorku Kenesh, noted that in the future there are plans to provide benefits to all children under 16 years old. However, to implement this idea, it will be necessary to increase the country's budgetary resources.
He also added that a decree has currently been adopted, which provides for benefits to all children up to three years old, regardless of their families' financial situation.
“At the moment, our budget does not allow us to cover children older than three years. Payments will only be made for children up to this age, without regard to the family's financial condition,” Japarov emphasized.
The head of state added: “As soon as the budgetary situation improves, we will be able to expand the payment program to include children up to 16 years old. This depends on strengthening our economy and is a matter for the future.”
