During his speech in parliament, the president emphasized that 9 out of 10 candidates for the position of Minister of Emergency Situations were involved in corruption.
“I reviewed 10 candidates, and 9 of them were involved in various corruption schemes. One of them is a ‘schemer’, another was also implicated in inappropriate dealings. This raises doubts about the availability of ‘clean’ personnel for the ministerial appointment,” noted Japarov.
Sadyr Japarov also stated: “In the fight against corruption, I will spare even my own brother.” He emphasized that his efforts in this battle will be unwavering.
“No one will be spared. Even if it is my brother, I will have no doubts. However, my brothers and children do not hold government positions, and therefore I am at ease,” the president added.
