The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan adopted a law to reduce the number of auditors in the Accounts Chamber.

At the next meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the draft constitutional law "On Amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic'" was discussed and approved in two readings.

The initiator of this draft law was the President of Kyrgyzstan.

The draft law was presented by the Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development of the Jogorku Kenesh, Altynbek Kudayberdiev.

The main goal of developing this project is to improve the legal regulation of the work of the Accounts Chamber. In particular, the draft law proposes to reduce the number of auditors from nine to three, introducing a provision that the Accounts Chamber will consist of three auditors, including a chairperson appointed from among them, as well as the staff and territorial divisions of the Accounts Chamber.

In addition, the Jogorku Kenesh adopted the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (including the laws 'On Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic' and 'On Arbitration Courts in the Kyrgyz Republic')" in the third reading, as well as the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On Credit Information Exchange'" in the second reading.
