According to the agency's information, in February 2025, a man with the last name A. managed to gain the trust of a resident of the rural district of Uch-Korgon. He took 22 tons of green apples, initially valuing them at 900,000 soms. However, he only paid 450,000 soms of that amount, promising to settle the remaining sum within a week, but failed to do so and continued to hide from the creditor.
Another victim, a resident of the village of Kara-Kyshtak from the rural district of Maidan, also reported to the police. In his statement, he indicated that on December 17, 2024, he handed the same man a truckload of persimmons, valued at 418,000 soms, with the condition of payment within a week. To date, he has also not received the money back.
As a result of the suspect's actions, two citizens suffered damages totaling 868,000 soms.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding these facts under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities carried out by officers of the Uch-Korgon police department of the Kadamjay District Department of Internal Affairs, the 30-year-old suspect N.A., a resident of the Aksy district of the Jalal-Abad region, was detained in Bishkek, where he was hiding from law enforcement authorities. He is currently placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigative actions in the case are ongoing.
