According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Osh region, the incident was recorded at the 17th kilometer of the Zhany-Aryk–Kyzyl-Suu road in the Intymak rural district. Rock boulders fell onto the roadway, completely blocking the path.
Emergency services arrived at the accident site, where work is currently underway to clear the road. Specialists from Road Maintenance Enterprise No. 45 have deployed two pieces of loading equipment to carry out this task.
The Akim of the Kara-Suu district, Chyngyz Bapaev, confirmed that the clearing process is ongoing.
According to preliminary data, no one was injured as a result of the rockfall. The damage caused to the road infrastructure will be assessed by specialists after the stone removal work is completed.
