During a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Almaz Imangaziev emphasized the importance of signing agreements with various countries aimed at exempting holders of diplomatic and service passports from visa requirements.
He noted that significant progress has already been made with Serbia: now citizens of Kyrgyzstan can travel to this country without visas.
In addition, Imangaziev reported on ongoing negotiations with China to ensure similar conditions for Kyrgyz citizens.
According to him, the successful simplification of the visa regime depends not only on diplomatic interactions but also on economic indicators, security issues, and other international standards.
He also stressed that the passport of the Kyrgyz Republic meets international security standards, which practically eliminates the possibility of forgery and thus increases trust in it on the global stage.
