At today's meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, which took place on March 12, deputies approved several bills concerning the ratification of agreements on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports. Among the countries involved are Egypt, Oman, Slovenia, and the Benelux states.

Among the ratified agreements:

— "Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Benelux states on the exemption from visa requirements for holders of valid diplomatic and service passports, signed on June 18, 2025, in Brussels";

— "Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the mutual exemption of holders of diplomatic passports from short-term visa requirements, signed on October 16, 2025, in Ljubljana";

— "Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman on the mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports, signed on September 25, 2025, in New York";

— "Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports, signed on November 4, 2025, in Cairo".

Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev presented the bills and noted that these agreements will allow citizens—holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the mentioned countries—to enter, exit, and transit through the territories of these states without a visa for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

Deputies emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should continue working to expand the list of countries with which a simplified visa regime can be established, not only for holders of diplomatic and service passports but also for citizens with regular passports.
