In Lebanon, "Hezbollah" launched about a hundred rockets towards northern Israel. Throughout the night, air raid sirens sounded in Haifa and Galilee. Israel described this shelling as the most extensive from "Hezbollah" since the beginning of the latest conflict.
For its part, the Israeli side is conducting strikes on residential areas in Beirut and other cities in Lebanon, justifying this as a fight against terrorism. According to Lebanese authorities, over the past ten days, more than 630 people have died from Israeli attacks, and over 800,000 residents have been forced to leave their homes.
Israeli Defense Minister Katz stated that he issued an ultimatum to the Lebanese government: if "Hezbollah" does not cease its attacks on northern Israeli territories, Israeli forces will be compelled to invade Lebanon and resolve the issue themselves.
According to The Times of Israel, Katz said: "Yesterday, Hezbollah conducted a massive artillery bombardment against the State of Israel."
“I warned the President of Lebanon that if the government cannot control its territory and prevent threats from Hezbollah to northern settlements and attacks on Israel, we will take control of this territory and do it ourselves.”
