In the Issyk-Kul region, the completion of the construction of solar power plants is planned in the coming months, which will allow them to be put into operation. This information was provided by Ulubek Duysho uulu, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, in the program "Elden Sobol".
He emphasized that in response to the growing electricity consumption in the country, the Ministry of Energy is implementing a new strategy and launching various projects in this area.
“The Ministry has its own program in light of the increasing demand for electricity. This year, if everything goes according to plan, we will not disclose all the details, but solar power plants will begin their operations. The completion of construction in the Issyk-Kul region is expected in the coming months, and we hope to put them into operation this year. We expect that such initiatives will help us solve the problem of electricity shortages,” he added.
