
In Kyrgyzstan, agreements with single-phase subscribers provide for the possibility of consuming electricity within 5 kW. This information was announced by the Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of the Open Joint Stock Company "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan," Ulabek Duysho uulu, on the program "Elden Sobol."
The contracts also specify peak energy consumption hours in the morning and evening.
- From April 1 to October: the maximum period is 5 hours.
- From October 1 to April: the maximum period is 6 hours.
“After the installation of 'smart' meters, data is transmitted to the system. Restrictions are in effect from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the evening and from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the morning. If we successfully overcome the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026, in April we will be able to announce a possible revision of power limits (in kilowatts),” added Ulabek Duysho uulu.
Currently, the Open Joint Stock Company "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan" serves about 1 million 653 thousand subscribers across the country.
