OAO "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan" announced the introduction of temporary restrictions on electricity consumption during peak hours, specifically from 7:00 to 9:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00. During these periods, some substations experience overload.
In the event of an overload detected at a substation, to maintain its stable and reliable operation, the power on the meter will be automatically reduced from 5 kilowatts to 3 kilowatts. Specialists recommend avoiding the simultaneous use of high-power electrical appliances, such as heaters, irons, and washing machines, during the specified hours.
According to representatives of NESK, this restriction is temporary and is based on clause 79 of the "Rules for the Use of Electric Energy," as well as on an agreement signed between the enterprise and consumers.
