Four banks from Kyrgyzstan have been sanctioned
The European Union has introduced the 19th package of sanctions against Russia, which again includes banks and companies from Kyrgyzstan.
The updated list of restrictions includes 21 individuals and 42 legal entities, among which are organizations from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan, suspected of assisting in circumventing previously imposed measures. These companies are now deprived of the ability to conduct transactions with European partners and use international payment systems, especially in dollars and euros.
In particular, the Kyrgyz banks "Tolubay," Eurasian Savings Bank, as well as "Old Vector" and LLC "Greenex" have been sanctioned. The banks "Tolubay" and Eurasian Savings Bank were included in the sanctions list as organizations providing payment services and supplying crypto assets to Russia.
Thus, to date, four banks from Kyrgyzstan are under sanctions, accused of facilitating the circumvention of anti-Russian restrictions. Earlier, "Capital Bank" and "Keremet Bank" had already been included in the EU sanctions list.
