The complete modernization of the electrical infrastructure has been completed in Mailuu-Suu, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan. The Jalal-Abad Electric Networks enterprise has successfully finished preparations for the heating season (OZP).
In the city, there are 8,035 registered consumers, of which 6,850 subscribers are already using modern "smart" meters, marking a significant step towards the automation of electricity accounting.
The installation of new meters began in March of this year, and they now operate on the basis of an automated remote management system.
Additionally, the Mailuu-Suu Electric Distribution Network has implemented a number of capital and repair works:
- 50 transformers have undergone maintenance, and 170.5 km of overhead lines have been inspected.
- Major repairs were carried out on 10 transformers and 6.7 km of overhead lines.
- 44 outdated wooden poles have been replaced with new reinforced concrete ones.
- To ensure line safety, 126.96 km of route has been cleared of vegetation.
- As part of the 2025 plan, an additional transformer substation has been installed, and 0.6 km of new overhead line with a voltage of 0.4 kV has been constructed.
