Vartanov Vladimir Sarkisovich
Born in 1947. In 1971, he graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
Until 1996, he worked at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Energy as a senior researcher.
He created inventions in the field of improving the reliability of power transmission lines under extreme natural conditions.
In collaboration with Kholodov V.V., he developed 12 inventions, 7 of which were implemented in production and are the most significant: the design and method of installation of split-phase systems, which solved the problem of accidents on the 500 kV power line from the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Station to Abakan, and testing stands for ice deposits and wind loads for research stations in the Tien Shan mountains.
Main inventions:
1. Device for testing the damping capacity of intra-phase remote spacers of overhead power lines. Patent No. 1576963, 1990.
2. Device for recording wire vibrations. Patent No. 1424677, 1988.
3. Method for installing wires of a split-phase overhead power line with three wires in the phase. Patent No. 1545278, 1989.
4. Split-phase overhead power line. Patent No. 17-37595, 1992.
5. High-voltage overhead power line with a phase split into three wires. Patent No. 1677759, 1991.
