Dvornikov Leonid Trofimovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR in the field of science and technology.
Born in 1934. Graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute in 1958.
Worked as the Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty at Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
Specialist in the field of engineering for mining machinery. During his time at Frunze Polytechnic Institute, he established an industry research laboratory for the robotization of construction materials production. Under his guidance, about 50 people worked on scientific problems related to robots and manipulators, drilling rigs, and tools.
Many scientific developments carried out under his supervision have been implemented in production, resulting in an economic effect of about 7 million rubles. Scientific work was conducted in close contact with the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Awarded the jubilee medal “For Diligent Labor. In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V.I. Lenin,” and the Order of “Friendship of Peoples.”
Under his supervision, 16 candidate dissertations have been defended.
Published more than 150 scientific works, including 2 monographs, many of which were published abroad, and is the author of over 100 inventions.
