According to the provided information, by 2025, the capacity of the following substations has been increased:
- Substation 110/10 kV "Kok-Zhar" — transformer upgrade from 25 to 40 megavolt-amperes;
- Substation 110/10 kV "Orto-Alysh" — from 25 to 40 megavolt-amperes;
- Substation 110/10 kV "Altyn-Kazyk" — from 16 to 25 megavolt-amperes;
- Substation 110/10 kV "Berlik" — from 16 to 25 megavolt-amperes;
- Substation 110/10 kV "Vodokanal" — from 6.3 to 16 megavolt-amperes.
As a result of the modernization, the total capacity has been increased by 146 megavolt-amperes. This improvement will ensure reliable and quality electricity supply for the residents of the capital, the ministry emphasizes.
It is planned that by the end of the current year, two more substations will be modernized. These works are being carried out as part of an agreement between the Ministry of Energy and the World Bank, aimed at successfully navigating the autumn-winter period and improving the quality of service for consumers.
