The Minister of Energy inspected the construction of a solar power plant on Issyk-Kul

As part of a working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Talaybek Ibraev, visited the construction site of a solar power plant in the village of Kyzyl-Oruk, as reported by the ministry's press service.

Fam Min Bанг, the director of the company OsOO "RECA," noted that the work is being carried out according to the established schedule. A total of 104.5 megawatts of solar panels have already been delivered. Currently, the construction of temporary housing for workers is being completed, the foundation for the substation and the 110-kilovolt power line is being poured, and the supports for the solar panels are being installed.
Ibraev emphasized the importance of adhering to deadlines and the quality of work, instructing the company's management to strengthen control at the construction site.

It is expected that the first phase of the project, with a capacity of up to 150 megawatts, will be completed in the first half of 2026.

The solar power plant project in the village of Kyzyl-Oruk in the Issyk-Kul region is designed for a capacity of up to 1 thousand 900 megawatts. An agreement for its implementation has been signed between the government of Kyrgyzstan and the companies RECA LLC and Rox Energy Global.
