The minister noted that the "Balakchy" branch must ensure stable supplies of sorted coal at reasonable prices. To prevent a coal shortage during the autumn-winter period, he ordered the creation of additional driver positions and the organization of round-the-clock operations with a shift schedule. This will help increase the speed of solid fuel delivery both to storage facilities and to private consumers.
As of today, the production and supply indicators are as follows:
- since the beginning of 2025, 770,614 tons of coal have been mined;
- overburden works have been completed in the amount of 7.75 million cubic meters;
- 429,855.6 tons have been supplied to the population;
- 475,759.3 tons have been delivered to thermal power plants;
- the total volume of coal sold amounted to 905,614.9 tons.
OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur" collaborates with 129 fuel storage facilities across the country, where coal is delivered for further retail sale to the public.
The agency noted that the main goal of the measures being taken is to provide citizens with reliable fuel at affordable prices throughout the heating season.
