Fish stocking has been carried out in the Toktogul and Tash-Kumyr reservoirs

According to information provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, as part of an agreement between the Department of Fisheries and fishing organizations, stocking has been carried out in the Toktogul and Tash-Kumyr reservoirs. The contract was signed to provide the water areas of these bodies of water for the breeding and cultivation of trout in cages. The work was conducted by the companies "Taza-Balyk," "Aber," the peasant farm "Ravshan Eco," and individual entrepreneur A. Baizakov from November 6 to 7, 2025.

In particular, 10,000 juvenile fish were released into the Toktogul reservoir, while 11,250 carp were released into the Tash-Kumyr reservoir, each weighing about 40 grams.

The juvenile fish were obtained through artificial fertilization at the incubation workshop of "Uzgen Fish Farm," which is a branch of the State Enterprise "Kyrgyz Fish Farming." This workshop is located in the Uzgen district of the Osh region, where the juveniles were also grown in the ponds of this farm.
