According to information provided by the Ecological Supervision Service, the fish that ended up in these nets were successfully returned to the water body. The seized synthetic nets are awaiting destruction.
Three boats were also found on the shore of the reservoir. Fishing gear, ropes, plastic bottles, and fish boxes were discovered in two of them. The owners of these boats were identified and held accountable: they were fined 11,000 soms in accordance with Article 267 of the Code of Offenses (Prohibition of the use of synthetic fishing nets and electric fishing systems).
The boats that did not have the necessary permits were seized as evidence and temporarily stored in the administrative building of the Toktogul District State Administration.
