The investigation believes that a pharmacist from the pharmacy chain "Mir i Nur," K.Z.N., born in 1979, had been involved in the smuggling and sale of these prohibited substances in Bishkek for a long time.
Operatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a controlled purchase of the banned medications, and on October 8, a repeat purchase was made in significantly larger quantities. As a result, the pharmacist was caught in the act.
During a search, psychotropic substances "L" and bottles "T" were found in her possession, as well as unlicensed medications that had a smuggled origin.
The Department of Medicines and Medical Devices imposed a fine on the detained individual. Additionally, the suspect was placed in pre-trial detention center No. 1.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
