Employees of the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of the Ecology Inspection, subordinate to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision, conducted an operation during which 1,100 meters of old synthetic nets, installed illegally, were removed from the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
Civil activists, whose goal is to protect fish resources and preserve the biodiversity of the lake, also participated in this initiative.
In addition, to ensure environmental safety and prevent the illegal use of natural resources, regular patrol inspections are conducted on Lake Issyk-Kul.
