Albert Dros — "I recently discovered Kyrgyzstan"
Photographer from the Netherlands — 33-year-old Albert Dros published photos of unique places on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul on his Facebook page. Together with a film crew, he was shooting a documentary for CNN, which will be released in April.
Albert Dros is a recipient of many awards in the field of photography. His works have been published in National Geographic, Times, and others.
“I recently discovered that part of Kyrgyzstan is absolutely unexplored. For six days, I explored the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul with my friends. Kyrgyzstan is rich in various landscapes, from glaciers and lakes to high mountains and canyons. All of this is in just one country. Despite this, we focused our attention on canyons, most of which were completely unexplored, even by the local population,” says Albert Dros.
