The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported that the limits apply to the fishery water bodies of the country and are intended for sport and amateur fishing.
To improve the organization of fishing events, agreements have been signed with various public associations of hunters and fishermen, as well as with commercial entities.
Together with the Department, the state enterprise "AgroSmart" has developed and implemented an electronic fishing ticket system, which is available on the official website of the ministry in the "Services" section, as well as through the payment operator "Megapay." This innovation has significantly simplified the ticket purchasing process, making it more accessible for citizens and reducing the need for paper documents.
In the nine months of 2025, the sale of fishing tickets and cards amounted to 11.8 million soms, which significantly exceeds the result of the same period last year, when 2.6 million soms were sold.
The Department noted that the growing interest in sport and amateur fishing is explained not only by the convenience of purchasing tickets but also by the improvement of the culture of responsible attitude towards aquatic biological resources.
In the future, further development of electronic services and strengthening control over compliance with catch limits is planned, which will help preserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable use of natural resources.
