The complete replacement of 3,300 porcelain insulators with glass ones has been completed in the Talas region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the agency, the branch of JSC "NESC" — the high-voltage networks service of the Talas PES, successfully completed this work in 2025.
As part of the modernization program, all insulators on overhead lines with a voltage of 35 kV were replaced with modern glass analogs.
In addition, the upper parts of the supports and connecting elements were inspected, and repairs were carried out as necessary. The routes of the overhead lines were also cleared, and trees and shrubs were trimmed.
Furthermore, major construction works have been completed on the 110 kV overhead line "Semetey – Pobeda." On a section of 47.06 km, wires, insulators, and coupling hardware were replaced. Thermographic studies and technical inspections of the high-voltage lines were conducted.
