During the broadcast of the program "Elden Sobol," organized by the "Kabar" agency, the Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of the "NESC" JSC, Ularbek Duysho uulu, shared information about the progress of installing "smart" meters in various regions of the country.
He reported that by 2025, the Talas, Naryn, and Jalal-Abad regions will be fully equipped with "smart" meters at 100%. Work in the Issyk-Kul region is nearing completion and stands at 90%. Additionally, in the city of Osh, which ranks second after Bishkek in electricity consumption, the installation of "smart" meters has been completed. In the Batken region, this process is also in the final stages, according to the NESC representative.
