The installation of 35,600 "smart" meters has been completed in the Talas region, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the information from the department, this number of meters was installed in the Aitmatov, Manas, Bakai-Ata, and Talas districts.
Of the total number, 31,280 are single-phase meters that were fully planned and implemented. In addition, 4,320 new three-phase meters have been replaced and connected to the network.
- In the Bakai-Ata district, 8,268 new meters were installed.
- In the Aitmatov district - 11,032 meters.
- In the Talas district - 11,164 meters.
- In the Manas district - 5,136 meters.
The installation of meters continues in stages. These new devices provide more accurate accounting of electricity, help to quickly identify faults, reduce losses, and simplify the payment process for consumers.
