Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan: A record number of 'smart' meters installed

The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan reports the installation of a record number of smart meters across the country in 2025.

According to the agency's data, at the beginning of this year, the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan planned to implement 500,000 smart meters, and this plan has already been successfully realized.

The number of installed meters is distributed across regions as follows:
• Bishkek — 28,605;

• Chui Region — 114,884;

• Talas Region — 36,900;

• Osh Region — 108,907;

• Batken Region — 45,912;

• Jalal-Abad Region — 82,903;
