In Mailuu-Suu, 6,850 modern "smart" meters have been installed

The automated electricity accounting system provides the ability to monitor consumption online, eliminating the need for staff to visit consumers' homes. Residents of the city respond positively to the implementation of such digital technologies.
In addition to installing meters, the Mailuu-Suu Electric Distribution Network (RES) has also carried out a number of other repair and capital works:
• Technical maintenance of 50 transformers and 170.5 kilometers of overhead lines has been conducted;

• Capital repairs have been completed on 10 transformers and 6.7 kilometers of overhead line;

• 44 outdated wooden poles have been replaced with new reinforced concrete ones;

• Clearing of 126.96 kilometers of the route from trees and branches for the safe operation of the lines has been carried out;

• As part of the 2025 plan, an additional transformer substation has been installed, and 0.6 kilometers of 0.4 kV overhead line has been constructed and put into operation.
It is worth noting that a new office of the Mailuu-Suu RES was opened last week. Previously, employees worked in an old building that was used as a kindergarten. The new office is equipped with modern facilities, making the process of receiving consumers more comfortable.
