Almost 116 kilometers of barriers have been installed on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border

At the border of Kyrgyzstan with Tajikistan, the construction of nearly 116 kilometers of barbed wire has been completed. According to information provided by the presidential representative office in the Batken region, work is currently underway in the village of Maksat in the Leilek district.

As of November 12, the total length of the fenced line in the Batken region is 115 kilometers and 958 meters. Of this number, 84 kilometers and 806 meters are located in the Batken district, while 31 kilometers and 152.5 meters are in the Leilek district.

In addition, 176 kilometers of new roads have been built at the border.
