According to information provided by the Institute of Seismology of the Academy of Sciences, the epicenter was located 13 kilometers southeast of the village of Baymak and 14 kilometers from the village of Kara-Unkur, which is close to the border with Kyrgyzstan.

The focus of the earthquake is situated 26 kilometers northwest of the city of Namangan in Uzbekistan.

In the villages of Kyrgyzstan, such as Kara-Unkur, Baymak, and Ajek, the tremors were felt at a level of 4 points, while in the city of Kerben, they reached 3 points.
