In three days, three earthquakes registered in Kyrgyzstan

From October 31 to November 2, three earthquakes were registered in Kyrgyzstan, according to information provided by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences.

On November 2 at 18:13 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 (energy class K=7.9) was recorded. The epicenter was located in the Alai Ridge, 15 kilometers northwest of Kashka-Suu, 16 kilometers from Kara-Kabak, and 85 kilometers southwest of Osh. The intensity of the tremors in populated areas reached approximately 2 points in Kashka-Suu and Kara-Kabak.

On the previous day, November 1, at 10:21, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3 (energy class K=7.8) occurred in the Uzgen area. The epicenter was near the village of Krasny Mayak, 5 kilometers south of Kalty and 7 kilometers northeast of Uzgen. The tremors were felt at a level of 3 points in Krasny Mayak and about 2.5 points in Kalty, Jylandy, Shoro-Bashat, Bakmale, Karadykan, Myrza-Ake, and Uzgen.

Additionally, on October 31 at 19:22 local time, seismologists recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 (energy class K=8.6) in China, 149 kilometers southeast of the village of Kadji-Sai. However, the underground tremors were not felt in Kyrgyzstan.
