The tremor occurred at 07:45 Moscow time, 158 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The epicenter was located at a depth of 38.2 km. According to preliminary data, the strength of the tremor in the regional capital was 4 points.
“Earlier, about an hour before this, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 occurred. No tsunami warnings were issued,” the message specifies.
