Three local residents contacted the police station with statements that unknown individuals stole two cows and one foal on the night of November 22, 2025.
These incidents were registered in the Unified Register of Crimes under Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning livestock theft. In this regard, a criminal case was initiated.
During operational investigative activities, officers of the Talas District Internal Affairs Department detained two suspects: K.S., born in 1991, and S.S., born in 1994. On November 23, they were placed in a temporary detention facility. It was established that the suspects committed thefts both in their village and in neighboring settlements.
Additional measures are currently being taken to determine any possible connection of the detainees to other similar crimes. During the investigation, it was found that one of the detainees, K.S., is also involved in the theft of four cows that occurred between April and August 2025.
The total damage caused to the claimants amounts to 800,000 soms, of which 400,000 soms have already been compensated. Investigative actions to recover the remaining amount are ongoing.
