In the Talas region, a cattle theft of 800,000 soms was solved

Three residents of the Talas region approached the Talas District Internal Affairs Department, reporting a theft that occurred on the night of November 22. Unknown criminals stole two cows and a foal. The press service of the regional police confirmed this information.

A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to cattle theft.

As a result of operational measures, two men were detained: K.S. (born 1991) and S.S. (born 1994). Both were placed in a temporary detention facility. It was established that the suspects committed thefts both in their village and in neighboring settlements.

Additional checks revealed that K.S. was also involved in the theft of four cows that occurred between April and August 2025.

The total damage caused to the victims amounted to 800,000 soms. Currently, 400,000 soms have already been reimbursed, and the remaining amount will be returned during the ongoing investigative actions.

The applicants expressed their gratitude to the Talas police for solving a series of cattle thefts that had been occurring since spring and for the return of part of the lost property.
