According to information from law enforcement agencies, on October 28, 2023, a resident of Kara-Suu, born in 1984, approached the local police station with a report of a missing bull that was grazing in the village of Telman on the night of October 24 to 25.
On the same day, a similar report was filed by a local resident, born in 1967, who also reported the disappearance of his bull on the same night.
In connection with these incidents, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205-1 ("Theft of Livestock") of the Criminal Code.
As a result of operational search activities, officers of the criminal investigation department of the Kara-Suu district detained a 40-year-old man, E.T., on November 8, on suspicion of committing the theft. The suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility.
On November 10, the investigating judge of the Kara-Suu district court decided to impose a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest for the suspect, which will last until December 31, 2025.
The investigation is ongoing.
