The incident occurred on the night of November 2, around 00:30. Inspectors stopped a Toyota Ipsum vehicle driven by J.A., born in 1993, on the Tokmok - Koshoy highway. Since there were suspicions that the driver was inebriated, he was taken to a local medical facility for examination.
While in the hospital, the man began to behave aggressively: he insulted the medical staff, hit a doctor, and broke a window in the reception area. The traffic inspectors present at the scene merely pulled the troublemaker aside without attempting to calm him down and responded rudely to the medical staff's remarks.
Based on this incident, a case was opened under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The man was placed in a temporary detention facility.
As a result of an internal investigation, several traffic inspectors faced disciplinary action.
On November 6, another criminal case was opened against the suspect under Article 330 ("Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, or religious interregional enmity (hatred)") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, the suspect is in custody.
